Making Good on that New Year’s Resolution

As part of my overall goal to provide more and more excellent service every year, I now pledge to post wedding Sneak Peeks!

Why haven’t I done this before? I like a “no-pressure” relationship with my clients. This means that during initial contact or the consultation and beyond, I keep paperwork and contractual needs to a minimum. (Written permission is needed to post your lovely images.) More and more couples are interested in the ease of access and quick responses–that means using tools like FB, blogs, and other social networking–and now is the time to step up my service in new ways.

Wedding Tradition Tidbit: Did you know in some cultures women were only “allowed” to pop the question on February 29th, Leap Year? If you missed out, you’d have to wait another four years for your next shot. Sigh. Good thing things have changed.

Abigail and Romain / Private Residence / Southern Maine

Abigail and Romain planned their wedding from their current home in France. Yikes! The crafty couple still found time to design so many charming accents: a vintage book as a “ring pillow,” a flower wreathe, letterpress table settings, and dried lavender name cards–just to name a few. While walking the coastline at Fort McClary during their portrait session, Abigail found a keepsake, a bird feather.

It had that downtown Portsmouth wedding kind of feel! Tracey and Chris exchanged vows at South Church, walked through Market Square, and caught a trolley to New Castle Common for a seaside side trip. I am a big admirer of Tracey’s stilettos on rock bluffs and historic brick, fuschia–no less. Festivities continued at Portsmouth Harbor Events Conference Center. Thank you Seacoast Weddings Magazine for sharing the fun!
